The day before the wedding

Kelsey: The day before the wedding, we took it Long hike On three different alpine lakes. Our Photographer cat It helped us adjust our elopement – she asked what we imagined, recommended hiking, and found an amazing bakery. I was happy to work with people who were familiar with the terrain.

Kelsey:We thought, Why not marry our sisters and our sisters? The four of us are about the same age and in many ways they are very similar and very close. It really felt special.

Kelsey: I felt a lot Hesitant to enter the glacier lake. It was frozen, but it was a lot of fun.

Ali:We then had lunch at a mountain restaurant and continued our hike.

Ali: Before we came to Austria, we thought it could never be as beautiful as the pictures. But it was even more beautiful.
Wedding day

Kelsey: We stayed Apartment In Innsbruck, Austria. One of my favorite parts of the day was getting ready together. We weren’t morning people so we slept up to nine, put on each other’s hair and makeup, and had a sister and mimosa. It was good that we didn’t have a tight schedule and we were worried about many of our guests.

Ali:We finished preparing separately so we were able to have a proper first look.

Ali: I found a Jumpsuit with cape For $98, I joked that I was giving Kelsey the remaining dress budget. She let me guess in advance what I thought her dress would look and I was totally wrong. I was thinking of Lacey and Free Hoho, and she had the vibe of a silk goddess. It felt great to turn around and see her.

Kelsey:After the first appearance, we met with the sisters, I hiked to the lake For weddings and picnics.

Ali: Our parents were not physically there with us, so we asked to write something on both sets, and our sisters read their letters aloud. We laughed, wept, laughed at the fact that we were crying.

Kelsey:Ali and I then said our vows.
Ali: We took some long pauses to soak in the moment. It felt like the whole world was standing still.

Kelsey: Hilariously, I had forgotten to bring some water when packing for a picnic, so we only had champagne to drink.

Kelsey:Ali and I covered the sisters’ expenses and after the wedding, we all visited the train together around Austria, Switzerland and Italy. Two weeks with four people in Europe, a once-in-a-lifetime trip, was much cheaper than the quotes I got for a bigger wedding in the US

Ali: Legal marriage in Austria was complicated, so before flying abroad I signed a marriage certificate with Kelsey’s sister in a random airport bar. Well, whenever we are at the airport, we go past the bar and become like, “That’s where we officially got married!”
