Over the years, my journaling habits have evolved, but one simple adjustment completely changed the way I approach it. That means writing by hand instead of typing. At first, I thought typing was a faster way to keep track of my thoughts. But everything changed when I switched to pen and paper. As I move my hands across the page, my thoughts unravel, revealing ideas, insights, and emotions I wasn’t even aware of.

The key to keeping a journal consistently is to make it feel special. Morning is a sacred time for me. Not all notebooks and pens are created equal. You can’t write in a diary without paper that fits in your hand and a pen that glides smoothly.
