Last year, I would have confidently said that Anthropologie’s Pumpkin Clove candle was the best pumpkin candle ever, if not the best-smelling candle ever. It has a very strong scent and leaves your whole house smelling amazing. I especially love burning this candle when I have guests over. Plus, it comes in a beautiful glass jar with a gold lid. But it’s a bit pricey at $32 a bottle.

And… Target just released a pumpkin spice candle to rival the Anthropologie candle. They both smell eerily similar. They both have a creamy pumpkin scent with hints of vanilla and cinnamon. But do they burn the same? I tried them and they both smelled really strong, filling my home with a mellow, gentle aroma.

I think the one at Target is a little sweeter and the one at Anthropologie is spicier, and the one at Target is only $12, so it’s a great deal.

Plus, if there’s an issue with the candle you order, they’ll send you a new one right away, no questions asked. I have quite a few Bath and Body Works candles, so it was really hard to narrow it down, but I managed. Here are the best candles:

 

 

The strong woody and sage scent makes this one of my favorite candles, no matter the season. It makes me want to pull on a chunky knit and curl up with my favorite book. I think this scent would work really well for both men and women, and it’s not too sweet. For me, this candle is a nostalgic candle that makes me dream of the first day of fall, putting on my uniform for school, and watching Friday night football games. Sigh.

 

 

Is this a winter candle or a fall candle? It doesn’t matter. This candle smells amazing, it’s sweet and smoky and makes you feel like you’re outside. I love this candle so much that I always keep a few on hand, just in case.

I love their marshmallow flavors, they have a marshmallow pumpkin latte scent that comes in creams, sprays, shower gels and I wish they would release it in candles too. Vanilla Pumpkin Marshmallow I love it too!

I almost didn’t buy it because I was skeptical about the coffee scent, but I’m so glad I did. The mix of freshly roasted coffee and vanilla makes it one of my favorites. It’s totally different from the others and gives a warm atmosphere to the whole room. It burns easily all year round. I don’t drink much coffee, but this burns very easily. My parents are coffee fanatics and they were very happy when I gifted this to them. I also love the packaging!

I found this candle on Amazon and it fills the room with mulled cider, making you feel like you’ve just come back from apple picking. It’s a beautiful home fragrance with subtle hints of cranberry and orange. Plus, I love the bottle and the handwritten lettering. These candles are all handmade.
