The orange chicken is similar to sweet and sour chicken. It is a sweet, flavorful sauce. The base of the sauce is orange juice, but there are many other ingredients that balance the sweetness and flavor.
Many of the weekday dinners we make at our home are pretty basic. Use rice or pasta to make some protein (meat or plant-based). So I like to have an easy way to change the flavor of this. And then there’s this recipe for orange chicken sauce.
This orange chicken sauce can be served on grilled chicken, fried chicken, or air fryer chicken. You can fill your meal by adding steamed rice, fried rice, or cauliflower rice.
