Looking for the perfect everyday lip color that’s easy to use, affordable, and gives a beautiful finish? You’re probably on the hunt for the holy grail of lip products. That’s certainly true. My journey led to an amazing discovery: Kiko Milano Smart Fusion Lip Crayon. Thanks to Amazon, I was finally able to try out this brand for myself. This little gem has become my go-to for achieving a flawless, semi-gloss look that feels as good as it looks. In this review, I’m going to break down not one, but two shades, and see why this lip crayon is a staple in my makeup bag, and why it might be exactly what you’ve been looking for.

Smart Fusion Lip Crayon by Kiko
You can purchase one of 10 color variations (from a subtle sheer finish to intense pigment) on Amazon or at your local Kiko store. A bottle of lip crayon costs approximately 5.99 euros for 1.6 g (0.05 oz) of product.
Texture and aroma:
I am the proud owner of two lip shades, 04 Intense Hazelnut and 08 Reddish Mauve. They’re very similar, but I’ll explain later why I chose this particular lip combo. So shade 04 Intense Hazelnut is a neutral dark brown shade with a creamy, saturated finish. 08 Reddish Mauve is a similar shade, but more intense and has a higher concentration of red pigment.
Both colors have a creamy semi-gloss finish that applies evenly to the lips. The intensity of the color varies depending on the shade. For example, color 01 Rose Nacre is a translucent rosy white with a subtle shimmer. Although it looks almost transparent when applied, 01 Cherry Red is truly a blue-based red, giving it a versatile and classic look.
When it comes to scent, this crayon smells like crayon. A little woody, a little oily, nothing amazing, and nothing tasty.
material:
Lactic acid is An ingredient often used in skin care products for its exfoliating and moisturizing properties. Due to normal use,It reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and fades dark spots and pigmentation on the lips.
How to use Kiko Milano’s lip crayon: Doll-like gradation that can be used every day
The best part about this lip crayon is definitely the application process. Quick, easy, and hassle-free, it’s everything the brand claims to be. Kiko Milano Crayon’s soft, thick tip allows for precise and clean application, so you don’t need a separate lip pencil to outline or fill in your lips. Of course, you can always pair your crayon with a matching liner if you prefer crisp lines, but for quick touch-ups, there’s no better option.
- Start with clean, exfoliated lips and use a sharp nude color (close to your lips’ natural tone) to give them fullness and shape. I apply it just above my natural contour (not on the sides), but up to the colorless border of my natural lips.
- Similarly for the lower lip, add “shading” below it. It gives the illusion of increased volume and visually increases in size.
- Now fill in the lips with a bright crayon. The softer the color and the closer it is to your natural lip shade, the more believable the final plump look will be.
- Finally, add a darker color to the center of your lips and blend it with your fingers or a small brush. This small accent adds dimension to your lip makeup. Here you can play with colors like a little red, a little pink, or a little purple.
Final verdict…
Hydration: 👍👍👍👎(8/10)
Texture: 👍👍👍👎(5/10)
Overall: 👍👍👍👎 (6/10)
There is one feature that makes these lip crayons great (in my eyes). That’s its versatility. It’s universally silky smooth formula makes it a great alternative to blush or highlighter, depending on the color you choose. One product, multiple uses, and everything I love about makeup. If you don’t mind reapplying throughout the day, you’ll love it as much as I do.
