Natasha Pickowitz Has incredible hair, and a lot of it. As a chef and author (her new cookbook, Minna nabejust came out! ), she also has a physically demanding job that requires her to get out of the way. “When I first started, I wore it in tight buns or ponytails, but I got really bad headaches,” she says. Through trial and error, Natasha has found a fun style that works. It couldn’t be easier…

Natasha says:
“My hair is thick and coarse, like many Chinese people’s hair. To keep it out of my face, I pull the top section back into a small bun or half ponytail and wear hair accessories. I prefer huge accessories that are ‘proportional’ to my hair. giant floppy scrunchie. If you find it on sale, crab stuff It holds the elastic well and has a great print. My other tip is to go to Asian supermarkets and snack shops (Daiso, H Mart, Teso, etc.) and buy cute Korean and Japanese hair accessories for cheap. ”

“I also love wearing giant bow High on the head, like Minnie Mouse. and extra large nail clipcoded with 90’s/wet seal. I have experienced many of these XL bobby pinThis is the only pin that keeps my thick hair in place. ”

“Finally, I’m wearing this gold ribbon as a talisman for my cookbook tour. I’m lucky to be able to wear gold during Chinese New Year. I like the crinkly/floppy feel, so it doesn’t look too pretty. This was literally the wrapping for a gift my friend Maria gave me at my book party.”
