Guys, I have a skincare confession to make: I have never tried enzyme face washes. This secret finally appears in the world, so I can finally breathe and relax. Yes, we all have skincare-related “sin.” And as someone with the most annoying sebum filaments in my nose and chin, I realized I should try enzyme powders faster.
Luckily, I have this opportunity now and I am happy to share my experience with all of you! Today we are looking at the wonderful milky pig basement cleanup enzyme powder wash by frequently guest K-Beauty Brand Elizavecca on the LZBRGL blog page. Now, are you ready to know if this face wash is as great as claiming it is?
About Elizabecca Milky Piggy Hell Pore Cleanup Enzyme Powder Wash
Hell-Pore Cleanup* is an enzyme powder wash that brings out cleansing power from natural sources – Corn starch combined with papain! The product claims to gently peel off the face and neck, removing old skin cells, impurities and sebum. Unlike harsh mechanical scrubs, its enzyme action provides a mild yet effective deep cleansing, making it suitable for sensitive or acne skin.
package:
I have to mention the cute packaging absolutely, so let’s rewind first! The cardboard outer box is as lovely and attractive as ever. This time, the iconic piggy mascot takes on the shape of a bubble and fights against a new wave of dark spots, dead skin cells and soppy power.
Inside the box is a true gem – an off-white retro plastic bottle filled with grainy powder, ready to open and use. It’s a truly eye-catching person! I’ll keep this baby on the shelf for years to come. Not only does it look cute, but the bottle has a dispenser on the top. It somehow reminds me of a miniature baby powder bottle. This dispenser will help you get the right amount of powder for all your exfoliating needs.
Texture and scent:
When the powder comes into contact with water, it creates a thick, velvety foam. The best thing is that adding more or less water can help adjust the consistency of the foam. Want a very thick, almost powdery texture? Then add some water. You need a thin, watery face wash – add powder. Everything is easy.
material:
Now it’s time for us to study the ingredients we put in the perfect bottle. Therefore, the main ingredient is Zea Mays, also known as Corn starch. Yes, this ingredient is very common in the skincare industry, whether it’s surprising or not. Its absorbent particles are fantastic to tackle its troublesome glow. If you are fighting an oily complexion, corn starch will become your new best friend, effectively absorbing excess sebum and leaving you with a beautiful matte finish without peeling your skin. But it’s not just about oil control! This kind giant also works incrediblely as a soothing agent. Do you have any irritated or inflamed skin? The gentle and moving nature of corn starch helps to calm things down.
On the other hand, although not abundant, valuable and important ingredients for the formula:
– Sodium cocoyl isoethionic acid: A mild cleanser derived from coconut. It is known for creating rich, creamy foam, gentle on the skin and is suitable for sensitive skin.
– Sodium Lauroyl Glutamic Acid: Another mild amino acid-derived surfactant. It is biodegradable and mild, but often used in “sulfate-free” formulations, while also helping to create foam and thoroughly cleanse the skin.
– Iglycerin: It means attracting and holding water, helping to hydrate the skin. It is a slightly larger molecule than glycerin and offers similar moisturizing benefits.
– Allantoin: A well-known ingredient that will heal your skin slowly. It calms irritation, promotes cell regeneration, improves skin texture, and beneficial for sensitive or compromised skin.
– Maltodextrin: A polysaccharide (type of carbohydrate) that can function as a membrane former, binder, or skin conditioner. Enzyme powders often act as carriers or diluents for enzymes.
– Papain: An enzyme derived from papaya fruit. In skin care, it functions as a proteolytic enzyme. In other words, it breaks down proteins. This allows the skin to gently peel off by dissolving dead skin cells, disrupt pores, and reveal a brighter complexion without mechanical scrubs.
How to use Elizavecca Enzyme Powder Wash?
After about 30-60 seconds, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water until no residue is left. Dry your skin with a clean towel and follow your usual skincare routines such as toner, serum, and moisturizers. For most skin types, just use enzyme powder washes 2-3 times a week, which is sufficient to maintain a healthy glow without excessive increase.
My experience:
As mentioned above, one of my main skin concerns at the moment is those annoying sebum filaments. Of course, they are the normal and natural parts of healthy skin, but we all want smoother skin. Salicylic acid and glycolic acid are excellent at purifying and smoothing the skin, but it never seems to work on my nose. The same goes for retinoids (I’ve been using commercially available retinol for a few years) – they do nothing to keep those filaments at bay. So of course I wanted to try something else.
Final verdict…
Hydration: 👍👍👍👎 (9/10)
Texture: 👍👍👍👎 (9/10)
Overall: 👍👍👍👎 (9/10)
I love Elizabecca’s enzyme powder wash. I can’t believe I’ve never tried it before! It’s just amazing. A little bit of powder will help a lot, so this little bottle should last for a long time! Who thought Cornstarch and Papain were really good friends? This face wash is recommended for people with dry, sensitive skin. I think you think it is very kind and effective for you. The only downside is that it may take a little time to get used to understanding the correct consistency you are gaining with it. Also, rinse your skin thoroughly afterwards to avoid powdery skin residue.
