Today I look forward to sharing my homemade margarita mix recipes. It’s very easy to make (it only has two ingredients and water!).

But the difference between homemade margarita mix and what you buy in the store is a bit insane. Store-purchased mixes may be coarse with syrup. Homemade flavor It’s very fresh.

It’s totally worth the effort! Here’s a quick little video that shows me exactly how to make your own margarita mix and margaritas.

Homemade Margarita Mix Ingredients:

1/2 cup sugar
1 cup of water
1 cup of fresh lime juice (approx. 10 limes)

Squeeze the lime juice into a bowl or measuring cup. I love This handy tool To juice lemon and lime.

Heat the water and sugar in a pot over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved. Let the mixture cool slightly before adding the lime juice. Mix together and pour into a Glass colour Or a Mason jar.

Refrigerate the mix for up to 2 weeks.

How to make homemade margaritas:

material:
1-shot tequila
1/2 shot Triple Sec

ice

Add one shot of tequila and half shot of triple section Margarita Glass (or These cactus glasses! ). Add ice and fill the rest of the glass with homemade margarita mix.

It’s very simple! Don’t forget to salt your rims and try them out Lime-flavored salt If you want.

This homemade margarita mix is perfect for parties. Depending on the number you offer, you can easily adjust the percentages and make large or small batches!

You can also use it Cast iron pot like this When creating a larger batch of mix.

Can I make various flavors of margarita mix?

yes! You can create a variety of variations of this recipe using grapefruit juice, orange, or cranberry juice instead of lime juice. You can also make your own strawberry margarita mix. If you like this recipe, be sure to try our homemade, old-fashioned cocktail mix.
