Father’s Day appears on Sunday June 15th, and picking something thoughtful but cool can be a little difficult for dads who know exactly what they like. This is a collection of Father’s Day gift ideas inspired by my husband. He loves well-made things, has great eyes in the design, rides and coaches on weekends, and appreciates stylish clothes and accessories (think New Balance, Scandinavian Project, Board, FKJ, Fred).
Joe provided his own thoughts on each of these items, both for my benefit and for yours. Happy Gift Shopping! – Kate
These are our favorite Father’s Day gift ideas for 2025…
15 Father’s Day Gift Ideas
Yes, Dad can carry a tote bag. And if your dad in life does so, he will find them very practical. Summer “go bags” can hold evolving children’s gear, swimsuits, groceries, and, by the way, bottles of wine after the game. I live from my tote in the summer.
These are not glasses to wear to wedding receptions, but they are for flower runners, hikers or bikers, and they understand how enjoyable the experience is with their lovely colours.
It’s 2025 and I’m not saying our grandpa is wrong, but having a rough palm is not a sign of courage. It’s a sign that you may need to use a hand balm. It takes about 6 seconds to apply, but he will thank me later.
My thoughts about the sauce are very well documented, and this chili quiri transforms the most entry-level panini or protein into a flavour packing experience. Heck, I put it on steamed broccoli.
Our kids give me sadness because they claim to have music at 90% of the time I wake up, and they’re not wrong. I like to play a wide range of “channels” to help with sleepy morning energy and to cheer us up before heading to the ball field. And with a simple carabiner, this easily clips into your dad’s golf bag.
Hats that do not have the logos of major league baseball teams or local baseball associations. It exists. Seesucker material breathes and is perfect for summer.
The ultimate “dad” shoes. Like grey New Balance 998 grey, I won’t scream at 6 o’clock for the soccer game. I recently sourced my first pair of New Balance.
I love statement shirts that break out of the trustworthy Navy, Forest Green and grey colour palette. This wearable art is beautiful and reminds me of something my grandmother made when I was a child. I love This style Too much.
If kids are old enough to ride bikes that can take their families outside their neighborhood and go to the area ice cream shops, breweries and restaurants, all dads need is a bike lock to ensure that they have a reliable horse there after their meal.
J. Crew makes a great swimming trunk. In addition to my versatile solid-colored Patagonia buggy, the trunk here offers fun patterns that can be used to handle lakes, pools, or splash pads.
Co-managing family calendars is not for the faint of heart. I found that writing things down can reduce the “Ah sh*% soccer is 5pm?!” drill. Additionally, our kids sometimes write motivational messages on my RAD dad’s notepad that helps me through days filled with zoom calls.
Kate gave me a lot of sadness when she discovered this product on my wish list, but she is also the catalyst behind my renewed interest in skincare. Can you fill a large bowl with water and ice cubes? Certainly you can, but this tub has a breathing tube so you can literally snorkel for a few minutes without coming for the air.
There’s something about vinyl on Sunday mornings. They also offered opportunities for people to communicate to their kids when they had no access to the entire music catalog, but rather had to source products that they needed to play manually.
You can’t be the only dad who has a unique collection of “things” that are usually left in very inconvenient places. These boxes could be wild week catch-alls of activities that will be organized over time.
Our kids talk a lot about my truck “smells leather.” And I’m very ok with that. When I remember my childhood, I remember the vivid sensations of my father’s car and my granddad’s workshop. This auto fragrance set is a great opportunity for dads to add interesting fragrances to their zone where they find themselves every day.
