Elizavecca Sun Stick SPF 50+: Is it the Best K-beauty Sunscreen on the Go?
SHARE

Summer is coming! Have you switched to a stronger sunscreen? I’m always on the lookout for a lightweight, protective sunscreen that can also double as a makeup base and moisturizer. Is that too much to ask for in one skincare product? Elizavecca thinks not! Elizavecca has the best sunscreens that protect, hydrate and mattify your skin without any oiliness or white cast. Sound too much? Well, let’s find out!

About Elizavecca’s Milky Piggy Sun Great Block Stick

of Elizavecca Sun Great Block Stick* is a convenient, portable sunscreen perfect for everyday use, especially when you’re on the go. Just twist, apply to skin and voila! This SPF 50+ PA+++ stick provides broad spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays, helping to protect your skin from sun damage and premature aging.

Formulated with nine herb and flower extracts (more on all of them in a moment!), it boasts a soothing formula that leaves a non-greasy, non-sticky finish, plus its compact size means you can easily slip it into your purse or pocket for all-day sun protection.

Elizavecca Milky Piggy Sun Great Block Sticks come in playful, eye-catching packaging (as all Elizavecca products are!). The tube is bright pink plastic and features an illustration of a cute cartoon pig wearing heart-shaped glasses, modeled after the brand’s mascot. When you open the cardboard box, the pig removes his sunglasses to reveal two heart-shaped silhouettes. This has got to be the cutest Elizavecca packaging ever!

The product comes in a compact, sleek cylindrical packaging that is perfect to carry in your handbag or makeup bag when you want sun protection on the go.

Now, about the texture, color and scent. Milky Piggy Sun Great Block is clear in the stick with a slight yellow tint. When applied to the skin, it becomes completely clear and absorbs quickly into the skin. Unlike most sunscreens, it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. It doesn’t leave a white cast, is not heavy or oily, has no gritty texture, and is clear and moisturizing. The finish is semi-matte at first, but becomes almost completely matte within a few minutes.

Do you want to reapply your sunscreen over your makeup? No problem! Elizavecca Milky Piggy Sun Great Block Stick glides on smoothly without ruining your foundation. It can be easily reapplied over your makeup without smudging, making it the perfect way to maintain sun protection all day without having to redo your daily makeup.

As always, the ingredients are great. When it comes to skin care products, Elizavecca never disappoints. But let’s start with the actual sunscreen ingredients used in the Sun Stick: Homosalate and Octocrylene. These are popular organic compounds that primarily provide protection against UVB rays and UVA II. Ethylhexyl Salicylate (blocks UV rays) These three are a great trio for protecting your skin!

So let’s count each of the nine skin-beneficial ingredients in this sunscreen: Lavender Flower Extract, Mentha Rotundifolia Leaf Extract, Melissa Officinalis Leaf Extract, Rosemary Extract, Chamomilla Extract, Bee Balm Leaf Extract, Salvia Officinalis (aka Sage) Extract, Peppermint Leaf Extract, and lastly, Rosa Centifolia Flower Extract.

Wow, that’s a long list! It’s great to see brands infusing their products with natural ingredients. These skin-friendly ingredients help calm inflammation, condition, and protect against free radicals. They also have a calming and cooling effect on the skin.

  • How to use Elizavecca Sun Stick?

To apply the Sunblock Stick, turn the dial at the bottom to spread the sunscreen stick and gently massage onto your face and neck. Be sure to apply sunscreen to your arms and legs by sliding the stick up and down your limbs. Reapply every 3-4 hours, or more often if you sweat or swim.

I like to use this as a makeup primer and moisturizer – it’s very light and has almost no subtle scent, so I apply my Elizavecca sunscreen first (it’s more than enough to condition and moisturize dry skin), then my BB cream (add SPF?), finish with powder, and then continue with my makeup.

Why it’s important to reapply sunscreen when you’re at the beach

A day at the beach is great, but that fun shouldn’t come at the expense of sun protection. Sunscreen protects your skin from harmful UV rays, but it’s not invincible. Swimming, sweating, and toweling off your sunscreen will wash it off. That’s why constant reapplication is essential to maintain a protective barrier. Just like reapplying your makeup or brushing your hair to detangle it. Sunscreen will keep your skin healthy while you enjoy your beach vacation.

While sunburn might be the first thing that comes to mind, the beach presents other unexpected problems, such as constant reflections from the water. Increased exposure to UV raysAdditionally, the sand particles act like tiny exfoliants, further stripping away sunscreen. Reapplying sunscreen regularly will not only help prevent sunburn, but it will also protect your skin from long-term damage caused by UVA and UVB rays.

Final Verdict…

So is Elizavecca Sun Stick SPF 50+ the best Korean Beauty sunscreen for on-the-go use? It offers powerful sun protection, convenient application and a lightweight feel. Everyone’s skin needs are different, but if you’re looking for a portable, protective option this summer, this sunscreen is definitely worth a try. This handy stick makes sun protection easy and convenient, especially while on vacation.
