Everyone, let’s continue the Korean skin care craze. Today we’re taking a closer look at yet another skin ampoule from our favorite Elizavecca, but this time it’s a little different. Instead of the classic combination of hyaluronic acid and beneficial vitamins, we have taken a serum based on galactomyces fermentation filtrate. So, this is Elisabecca Witch Piggy Hell Pore Galactomyces Premium Ampoule and my detailed review about this beauty. Are you ready to jump in?
About Elisabecca Witch Piggy Hell Pore Galactomyces Premium Ampoule
Of course, like most Elisabecca products, Galactomyces Premium Ampoule is intended as an anti-aging, moisturizing product for everyone who needs to further strengthen their skin for a healthy, radiant and balanced look. This product promises to improve wrinkles, hydrate the skin, reduce dullness and unevenness, and improve skin elasticity.
You can purchase this serum on Amazon or on Elizavecca’s official website. For the price of $9.95, you get 50 ml (1.7 oz) of product.
When purchasing Elizavecca Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate, you have two options to choose from: Galactomyces Premium Ampoule (the one we reviewed today) and Galactomyces Pure Ampoule. The price is the same and the packaging is very similar. However, Pure Ampoule contains a slightly higher concentration of Galactomyces fermentation filtrate (100,000 ppm) and several additional preservatives. Premium ampoules contain more ingredients and have different consistencies, so avoid confusion when purchasing your favorite serum.
Packaging:
Texture and aroma:
Elizavecca Galactomyces Ample has a very pleasant fluid texture, much like the consistency of hyaluronic acid mixed with water. It absorbs into the skin immediately and leaves no sticky or odor. In fact, it has almost no odor, just a light scent reminiscent of saline or seawater.
material:
Face ampoules are famous for containing plenty of ingredients that are good for beauty, but let’s find out the secret! The first ingredient here is Galactomyces fermentation filtrate. Interesting, right? But what is this?
- What is Galactomyces fermentation filtrate?
Galactomyces fermentation filtrate (also known as GFF) is a yeast-derived ingredient produced as a byproduct of sake fermentation, and is widely used in skin care in Korea and Japan, where large amounts of sake are produced. It is rich in various beneficial ingredients such as vitamins, minerals, and amino acids that help improve the overall health and appearance of your skin.
GFF is known for its ability to improve skin tone and texture and increase hydration. Its mechanism of action includes strengthening the skin’s natural barrier, promoting skin cell regeneration, minimizing the appearance of pores and excess sebum, and providing antioxidant defense against environmental damage.
It also contains niacinamide, which is great for evening out skin tone, increasing elasticity, and regulating sebum production. This ingredient is the holy grail of beauty, and we’re so happy that Elizabecca includes it in her products so often. And here are some additional ingredients that your skin will love.
– Aloe vera leaf extract: This ingredient is derived from the clear gel found inside the leaves of the aloe vera plant. It is primarily known for its powerful soothing and moisturizing properties. Rich in compounds such as polysaccharides, vitamins, and minerals, it acts as a humectant, drawing moisture into the skin and hair and reducing dryness.
– Glycine soja (soybean) seed extract: An extract obtained from soybean seeds, this ingredient is prized in cosmetics because it is rich in beneficial components such as isoflavones and antioxidants. Acts as a powerful skin conditioning agent, helping to moisturize and nourish the skin while protecting against environmental stressors and free radicals.
– Milk protein extract: In cosmetics, it acts as an excellent skin conditioning and moisturizer. These proteins are rich in essential amino acids that nourish the skin, improve its overall condition and strengthen its protective barrier function.
– Sweet Almond Extract: This is my favorite face oil! Obtained from the kernels of the sweet almond tree, this extract is utilized as a natural emollient and moisturizer. They are often rich in compounds that help soften and smooth the skin’s surface, acting as gentle and effective skin conditioners.
How to use Elisabecca Galactomyces Premium Ampoule
I will show you step by step how to use this serum! It’s always best to start by thoroughly cleansing your face. Additionally, you can prep your skin with a toner to help balance your skin’s pH and help absorb products.
My experience:
As I wrote earlier, I love serums. Always add a layer of hydration and pampering to even the most frugal and simple routine. Another thing I love about them is the exceptional nutritional content they offer. You probably won’t find a random face cream or cleanser that uses GFF.
Elizavecca Galactomyces Premium Ample is a pleasure to use. The light texture instantly plumps up your skin, leaving it moist and smooth the next morning! The only rule here is to always layer in a good moisturizer. Do not skip this step to improve the performance of your ampoule by 100%. Another important factor to consider is the regularity (or consistency) of your application. If you refrain from using serums frequently, it will be difficult to significantly improve your skin texture. My skin feels so fresh and plump every time I apply a new one.
Final verdict…
Hydration: 👍👍👍👎(10/10)
Texture: 👍👍👍👎(9/10)
Overall: 👍👍👍👎 (9 /10)
This product generally has mostly positive reviews, but there are mixed reviews. One of the main complaints I saw online was regarding the confusing packaging of the Galactomyces Pure and Premium ampoules. One of the products contains pure GFF with a water-like texture, while the premium ampoule combines several different ingredients, including niacinamide. Therefore, when choosing an ampoule, carefully look at the ingredient list.
Elizabeca Ampoule offers amazing value considering the price and high concentration of active ingredients such as niacinamide and galactomyces. So feel free to add it to your skin care routine without spending a fortune.
