We make air fryer chicken tenders (store-buyed and homemade) at home with our toddlers. And when we’re on road trips or at the airport, I’m all on drive-thru meals, but that’s not a big part of our normal life. So it’s good to know how to make your own Chickfill A sauce.
This tic fill sauce recipe is made with just four simple ingredients. These are the things I usually already have in your fridge. The recipes I share are, for me, taste exactly the same as the restaurant version. However, when you make it yourself, you can customize it to your liking.
Related: From baked chicken, air fryer wings (as dipping sauce) to fryer fries, I love the recipe for this sauce. Like waffle fries, store-bought air fries are also great! Try our spicy mayonnaise recipe.

material
- Mayo – I like the real Mayo, but the miracle whip is fine too
- Mustard – Standard, Yellow Mustard
- BBQ Sauce – Brands bought in your favorite store will work
- Honey
If you want to taste this like a mimic tic fill, we recommend using the most basic (plain) material options. For example, if you use spicy BBQ sauce, it doesn’t taste like the restaurant version.

How to make tick filler sauce
Combine all the ingredients in a small to medium size mixing bowl. Mix until well mixed and the sauce turns orange.
The amount listed makes about 1/3 cup of sauce. If you want to make more amounts, double or triple this recipe.

Tips and alternatives
- If you want to add a little heat, use a spicy BBQ sauce or add at least 1/4 teaspoon of Cayenne.
- If you want to create a vegan version of this, you can replace mayonnaise (or similar vegan mayo options) with maple syrup or agave honey.
- I also use Dijon mustard instead of yellow mustard because I like the slightly spicy flavor.
