Instructions

Strain and pour into a cocktail glass.

Garnish the top of your drink with a grated nutmeg. Grate the nutmeg directly into the top of the glass.

Tips on how to make it

  • You can substitute heavy cream and half-and-half, but we don’t recommend milk as it won’t be as creamy. If you choose a vegan option, we recommend choosing a cream substitute rather than milk, as this is the key to the rich, creamy finish this drink is known for.
  • For best results, chill the cocktail glass in the freezer for 30 minutes to an hour.
  • If you can’t find nutmeg, a sprinkle of freshly ground cinnamon on top makes a delicious drink.
  • The secret to this recipe is more brandy and less cocoa liqueur and cream.
