Collaborating with Ruggable was a dream come true. I’ve always believed that color is the ultimate mood enhancer and I’m passionate about infusing it into all aspects of life. With this collection, I wanted to bring that same joy into your home. Not only are these rugs *super* vibrant to look at, but they’re also washable, making them incredibly practical, especially in a busy household. UrsaIt brings so much happiness to my living room every day and it’s a bold hot pink. Magdalena My dream of having a hot pink rug in my kitchen has finally come true!

Inspiration behind the design:
Like most of my designs, I designed this collection for myself. I relied on my own experiences and preferences, and sometimes envisioned different versions of myself at different stages in life. If you share my passion for vibrant colors, intricate patterns and nature-inspired design, I believe this collection will resonate with you too. Each piece in this collection tells its own story.Sonia and Billywas born from my painting. Josephine and UrsaThese works, which stem from my illustration work, are the product of my daughter Ida’s love for wildcats. Alice and GeorgiaAn eclectic twist on botanical motifs, the designs have their roots in ancient Egyptian art and are infused with my contemporary kaleidoscopic vibe. Nature is either literally represented or depicted in a 3D effect. Tarsila’s As abstract expressions such as palm leaves and crystals Hiruma. Some pieces were inspired by trips to places like New Mexico and Morocco. Sometimes it’s hard to pinpoint the exact source of inspiration, but sometimes designs just come naturally. It’s been a lot of fun working with the amazing creative team at Ruggable to turn my vision and art into “mobile” and washable pieces of art. The magic of Mother Nature is subtly expressed throughout the collection, and I believe this is what gives each piece its indescribable magic. Each rug is also named after an artist who has inspired me throughout my life. Can you guess which artist inspired each design?
