Over the past few months I have tried a different approach to dressing. Instead of asking Is this a flattering thing? or Will this go together?I came to ask Do I like how this feels? Do I like how this looks?
I reach for baggy pants, oversized button-downs, sneakers and a maxi dress. I avoided it because it wasn’t “feminine” or “putchards.” Now they’re exactly what I want.
Today I share some summer outfit ideas that I have felt like I recently. It’s comfortable, living life, a little quirky. Dressing for yourself changes everything.

5 Summer Outfits I love this season

I wore this on one of the mid-days, which was hot in the sun but cool in the breeze. This sweater T-shirt reminds me of something I’ve worn repeatedly in college. The hats and sunglasses are bigger than I usually go, but I love how they change the whole mood Don’t get in the way; you’re probably reading it.

This outfit came together in 5 seconds and felt easy, but in the best way it was completely different. I threw a button down over my dress as I saw “the kids” doing it at the last concert I attended. Now I want to wear this combo every day. It’s simple and tedious.

I love this dress. Because it’s soft and swaying, but well constructed to take you to a party. The flip-flop makes it casual, and the basket bag feels like you can go to the market in southern France…or target. That’s my reality, but I’m just keeping dreaming.

This is something I don’t just want to feel cool, but I also wear it like I’m in my pyjamas. I threw this after the swim and added some layered necklaces, and suddenly it looked intentional.

This outfit made me happy. I started with pants (bows!). It felt like clothes in itself and maintained a refreshing summer on top.
