I wrote this summer Big Salad Issues with BotoxHowever, the comments from readers who popped over me are actually…
…Teenager.
“Here’s some advice for the teens who were with me,” the named reader wrote Cuff. “‘I’m not going to be more excited than things, or even more disappointed.” Lisa Damour I said this about the university acceptance/rejection roller coaster, but I think it applies to sports, friends, tests, crashes, bosses, and more.
How smart is it? Teenager emotions are already everywhere – the best! Lowest price! – So they don’t need anyone to amplify them. And they shouldn’t feel the extra pressure to talk to you or hype you. Also, as a parent, I love the idea that you are helping your child run a marathon by lifting the sign and handing the water – do not have Do it with them. They can sweat, run, stretch, distort, fall, feel all the emotions.
Before this, I occasionally brought Rah-Rah energy to teen parenting moments, and that was it I’m not always grateful:

As always, I would like to thank my teenagers for their patience and leadership.

thought? What advice do you have to help you develop teenagers? Not for the faint of heart!
