What are your hopes and dreams for autumn? Mine is: a) you can eat all the pumpkins, bats and ghosts on your wreath, and b) consume great movies, books and more that come out in the fall. movie: Left-handed girl Filmed on a 4K iPhone camera (!), such grit reflects the film itself. This story involves a Chinese woman and her two daughters moving to Taipei to open a night market stall, and having a hard time interacting and squeezing into a small flat. In a stunning scene of urban life, the film depicts a gentle, complicated relationship between a mother and daughter. I can’t wait to see it.
The face of British actor Josh O’Connor somehow can show 100 expressions at the same time. So I was excited to see him play lead The mastermind (October 17th). The film follows JB Mooney, the father of a Shrumpy unemployed in the ’70s. What’s not going well?

For example, when American couples first meet each other, women usually run to men and get dizzy. In France, they usually lock their eyes, approach each other, and start kissing silently. In the Swedish version, people tend to be duller – as when one woman asked her fiancé, “Did you talk to your mom about me on the phone?” And he calmly replied, “No,” not knowing whether these norms are broadly true or with people who appear on reality TV, but it’s still fun to watch. I’m always excited about a good psychological thriller – think about it: Ripley is the talented, Parasites – Therefore, the assumption of Girlfriend I jumped straight away. When Laura (Robin Wright), the owner of the gallery, meets her son’s new girlfriend (Olivia Cook), she fears that she is a manipulative social climber, but is she just a paranoid? Who can you trust? Book: Book: Gabriel Hamilton’s first memoir – Blood, bones, butter – described by Anthony Bourdain as “the best memoir by a chef to date.” Somehow I missed it, but her second memoir, Neighbors (October 14th) put me on my knees this month. While caring for her sick mother, which she had been estranged for decades, Gabriel reflects on the family she grew up in. Like family, memoirs are, in turn, cheerful, electrical, unscratched and devastating. A few lines I flagged: “He goes into the hot water all over town, but as one of the adults says, leave immediately. He can charm mice from cheesecake. “My mother loved introducing herself at dinner parties to quip “If you don’t say anything about someone, sit next to me!” “What’s so crowded is my own mind, with loose questions piling up over other questions that certain doors can’t even open all the time. ”
Also, a list of all the fall books I’ve read so far wilderness An novel by Angela Fullnoy that follows five female friends over 20 years. From their 20s to 40s, they navigate careers, marriage, motherhood, urban life, aka “The Wilderness.” Can someone be involved?

food: My boy is finally old enough to eat soup! I don’t know what they’ve been against up until now, but as long as the unfriendly baguettes are on the table, they’re a game for what’s in the bowl.
