July marks a soft turning point. The light remains a little longer and time appears to be expanding with possibilities. This is the mid-term mark for this year. We are encouraged to look back at where we just went and eradicate where we are on our way more intentionally. The season reminds us that joy doesn’t have to be an extravagant thing. Sometimes it’s just a bowl of berries you’ve just picked, a walk that ends with wild flowers, or a day that moves at your own pace.

Moving into the centre of summer, the invitation is simple. It is soft, continues to exist, absorbing the beauty that lies right in front of you. First, discover that July was filled with 31 joys and make the most of your daily life.

Things to do to count every day in July

Some of us chase the sun with striped hair and sandy feet for salt. Others slowly find comfort. Morning walks, refreshing cold glasses, and a nice shaded book. But you spend your time, July is an invitation to live a little more fully.

Let every day become a small celebration of its own. Below you will need to do 31 things in July.

July 1st-8th

1. Check in your goal. We have six months and we have six months left in 2025. There’s no better time to look back at the goals we set at the beginning of the year. What still resonates? Is there any intention to let go? It will reconfigure and reset, and take this second half by storm.

2. We’ll be taking a day trip without a location. Choose your direction – no map, no plans, just curiosity. Find a roadside fruit stand and stop by a swimming hole to lead the inside Wanderer.

3. Make meals completely outside. Even if you’re not a grill master, you can cook delicious dinners outside with picnic-friendly foods. If you can stand on fever and mosquitoes for a long time long enough, Set up a clean table And enjoy the alfresco atmosphere.

July 9th-15th

9. Re-open your favorite books. I’m all about picking up the best new reads, there is There is no more comfort than rereading your favorite book. There’s no pressure to concentrate. 15. Commit to rest. Use July to get a good rest routine before summer ends. July is your invitation to build up a day of quiet, relaxed sleep stretches, or simply do nothing.

July 16th-22nd

16. I’m going to an outdoor concert. Most cities and large towns host outdoor music events throughout the summer. Do a little research and come out to support your local band. Don’t forget to have snacks!

18. Reads the synchronization of the cycle. Be interested in how your energy changes throughout the moon. Try synchronizing your diet, training, and skincare with your hormone rhythm.

July 23rd – 31st

twenty three. Clean your closet. If you’re looking for something productive in July, try cleaning your closet. You probably feel like you just I’ve finished cleaning the spring, but now it’s the perfect time to sell or donate summer clothes since last season. twenty four. Ride your family’s bike. Stuff a picnic and stop a scenic spot on the way for lunch. (Yes, it’s all just an excuse for a picnic.)

twenty five. Make seasonal bouquets. Head to Trader Joe’s or visit your favorite local florist and choose a few different flowers to create an arrangement that brightens up your home. Bonus points are when you make extras to share with friends.

Whether you’re curled up by the pool, in the park, or with fans on the sofa, point your way and get lost in a story that feels like the sun. 29. I’m going to a baseball game. Nothing screams about summer like baseball or hot dogs. I had just been to a Cubs game and didn’t call myself the biggest baseball fan, but I had a great time going out and connecting with the energy of the game.

30. Get on the water. Grab a paddle board, take surfing lessons, or board a boat. But you enjoy the water, but don’t be afraid to wet your hair.

31. Looking back at the month, we will achieve our new goals for August. Look back at everything this month has brought to your life. Have you met someone new? Do you experience new opportunities? Do you want to learn something new? Write in your journal what worked this month and what you wanted to happen in a different way. Then take that positive energy and lead it to an amazing August.

Simple Joy Month
