June is here! Behind us is an anniversary, and the unofficial start of the warm weather season is fully underway, and I have moved into a state of summer’s mind. This means snacking on a summer salad, soaking long days with friends and family, sending jeans behind the closet, and choosing an easy summer wardrobe instead. June offers a much-needed escape and I am already ready to slowly taste the goodness of summer. Looking for something to do in June? Don’t worry, I’ve been planning this whole month.
Summer vacation may have once been a fixture for our youth, but the reality for adults is that our work-centric weeks will continue. But that doesn’t mean we can’t absorb all the goodness of summer yet. It’s an interesting season and I’m paradoxically wanting to go out and spending my time all day. The natural beauty of the season is a way of calling me grounded and called to dedicate some of that time to being with myself. After all, growth is a process that impresses us, and ourselves both inside and outside.

30. Do a road trip. Distance doesn’t matter nationwide or across town. Join friends and partners, choose destinations and pack your car. Not a snack or road trip game or an option.
