Winter calls for a warming drink, and a wellness latte is a favorite way to enhance that cozy vibe. Combined with the slower pace of the season, these lattes are a way to add a little comfort to my day. For me, flavor is important and I love using whole, freshly ground spices to make each bite truly satisfying.

Each of these wellness lattes (Tahini Ashwagandha Latte, Chai Masala Hot Chocolate, and Dhoo Masala) are designed as single servings and are perfect for peaceful mornings or quiet evenings when you want to relax. I like to be a little flexible with my latte making and taste and adjust to what I feel like eating at that moment. Materials required: Cinnamon stick, star anise, cardamom pods, cloves, black pepper, milk of your choice, sweetener of your choice, cocoa powder

doodhu masala

Doodhu masala (milk masala), packed with warming spices and ground nuts, is a grown-up treat for me. Perfect for those looking for a caffeine-free drink that still feels special thanks to the spices. Feel free to experiment with the ratio of nuts and spices based on your taste preferences, and make a batch ahead of time so you can always spoon it into your hot milk.

Materials required: Raw unsalted pumpkin seeds, raw unsalted almonds, raw unsalted cashews, shelled raw unsalted pistachios, cardamom seeds, fennel seeds, nutmeg, saffron, granulated sugar, a pinch of salt
