There is no doubt that summer is the perfect time to pick up a new hobby. For me recently, it meant cooking and baking with a slight twist of boredom. But it’s hard to find a recipe that can withstand intense heat and humidity in my Florida. As a result, I expanded my repertoire of summer baking recipes to include fresh, seasonal ingredients that are most enjoyable in the hot months.

25 Summer Baking Recipes to Defeat the Heat

I’m a summer standout. I love spending time in the kitchen during this time of year. Of course, we know that many others rather know, sipping down the refreshing cocktails and relaxing poolside. Luckily, if you fall into the latter group, you know this. Many of these recipes require little or no baking. And when it comes to cooking that does it, trust them to be worth the effort.

If you want to make the most of your warm climate while still satisfying your sweet teeth, these summer baking recipes are exactly what you need.

Muffins and cupcakes

If you’re as obsessed with carrot cakes as I do, carrot cake cupcakes could be one of your go-to baking projects throughout the week. Containing oat milk and unsweetened apples, this cupcake batter is a healthier take and does not cause a dull sugar.

I’ve never seen a summer dessert look more spectacular than these citrus olive oil muffins. These bite-sized snacks bring the perfect amount of sweetness and smudge.

Gluten Free Free Pump Kin Muffins-28

These pumpkin muffins have been holding my heart for months. They are easy, full of warm autumn flavors, and I tend to crave refreshing summer nights. Glove and go snacks and healthy desserts, these muffins are essentials.

These blueberry power muffins pack punches with healthy ingredients. Apple cider vinegar and ground inger will wake you up on your right foot.

I can’t get enough of the olive oil muffins. They are very simple and don’t contain as much sugar as the double chocolate muffins I grew up with. (It’s certainly not the worst thing in the world, but let’s say these hit a literal sweet spot.)

Anti-inflammatory berry muffins_anti Inflammatory Breakfast

I am attracted to anti-inflammatory drugs when it comes to food. These muffins are a great way to pack lots of berries, turmeric and other delicious ingredients into your breakfast or snack. If you’re not familiar with the benefits of turmeric, be sure to read this fascinating spice.

A bite of banana bread! These vegan banana muffins are one of my favorite snacks. Filled with healthy ingredients that don’t cause sugar collisions, you can see that you are making these religiously at the beginning of the week.

cake

Rhubarb meringue cake

As mentioned before, rhubarb is like a dessert ingredient under the radar. Incorporating this fruit into your main dish is one thing, but it brings perfect brightness to any sweet treat.

The words “health” and “cake” don’t always go hand in hand, but this dessert proves skeptical mistakes. Whether you choose pumpkin pie spices or cinnamon, this honey cake has plenty of warm flavors.

If you’re looking for a party dessert, this cake will be one of my top picks. Various different citrus flavors make up this warm tone cake, adding a bright, tangy flavour.
