The arrival in October feels like an invitation to taste. This is a transition to a cool evening, a golden light, and a routine that makes me feel grounded. I had a few friends on a casual pasta night last weekend, and it reminded me of what I love most of the season. We placed a large amount of food on the table and everyone poured a glass of wine. And we sat on the patio for hours and talked as the plates were clean. That was exactly what I needed: simple, cozy and full of connections.

That’s the spirit I want to bring in in October. Even dinners where no one is in a hurry, the conversation is as meandering as the meal. For me, these little rituals make autumn feel so special.

Within the same energy, our editors shared the top pick in October 2025. Think of it as your monthly dose of fresh inspiration to embrace the season and create space for the most important things (and people).

In our kitchen

Sulla Table Enamel Cast Iron Round Dutch Oven

I couldn’t be more excited about the soup, chili and casserole this fall. Dutch oven! I love mine at the Sarla Table, it’s a mainstay that doesn’t break the bank. I make homemade bread every week – I get lost without it! – Christen Galafo, Design Editor

Grüns Super Food Greens Gummies

Confession: I’ve been baked into more bad green powder than I can count. Grun It’s the first thing that actually feels like a victory. Legal taste like gummy bears (and so cute!) and suddenly strong nails, shinier hair, energy boost, sharp skin, improved sleep, and all the benefits are all coming in. It’s a rare health habit that doesn’t feel like work. Grun is proof that you can actually create habits that you love. PS Their New Green apple flavor It fell this fall – and it’s the season as bright as it gets. – Isabel Eyman, editorial strategist

Pumpkin Protein Pancakes

It’s October, so we officially make these pumpkin protein pancakes at least once a week. An unusual recipe that all my family adores – we do these as breakfast for dinner when the calendar is packed the most. – Marketing Director, Brittany Chatburn

Chider

I was not a PSL girl. That’s always too sweet for me. I want to save pumpkin’s obsession with baked goods. What about my autumn drink? Chaider, a blend of Chaider, Chaider and Apple Cider, has gotten hot. It’s simple, comforting, and has a comfortable balance between spice and the atmosphere. Most days I have a 1:1 mix of store-bought cider and chai concentrate (my local Portland shop makes great things, but I also love it Chaibox version). And if I feel generous, I will whisk a splash of cream until it foams. When I want to level things out, Molly Buzz’s recipes It’s my go-to for a higher take. – Isabel Eyman, editorial strategist

About our vanity

RMED Skin Radiation+++ EGF Serum

Fall is when I bring the big batter back to my skincare routine. As the summer glow fades, my skin is constantly craving exfoliating and needs extra help to get that extra glow. I’ll always come back This radiant serumthe bonus of adding a skin stressor has been added, which instantly brightens my skin. – Ranga Chinyoka, Beauty Editor

Kora Organics Ukon Glow Drop

I’ve tried a lot of flat-falling “brightness” serums, but this one Contains radiance-enhancing formula It’s a real deal. It slips like silk and absorbs instantly, making my skin smoother, brighter and evener. With turmeric, plant-based niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid, it is a rare serum that feels luxurious while actually delivering results. I’m obsessed with everything that Kora brings out (see: My anti-aging hero And this Resurfacing serum It *actually* minimized my pores). This is one of the few famous beauty brands I trust. – Isabel Eyman, editorial strategist

Eadem Cashmere Peel Exfoliating Toner

Marketing got me on this. Include “Cashmere” in your name and autumn will automatically be called. but This toner I live to that name. It feels like a warm embrace and gives my skin a texture that is easy to touch. – Ranga Chinyoka, Beauty Editor

Rare Beauty Brow Harmony Flexible Lifting Gel

Brushing my brows has become unnegotiable for me in a ready process. My eyebrows are not something I write at home, so I have never paid much attention to them. However, I recently saw the creator (I apologize, but who doesn’t remember!), and claim that when you brush her brows, she feels more than ten times as much. Even on SPF-only days, my brows are brushed This unusual beauty gel. It’s natural and clear, and it’s strange to lift my face and refresh. – Bridget Chambers, Fashion Editor

Lush green super milk

Recently I’ve reached out Lush green super milk hair primer, And I’m totally hooked. After many post-shower fights with Tangle, this multitasking spray was a complete game changer. It bonds in seconds, protects against heat, adds light moisture, leaving behind the most dreamy vanilla scent of your dreams. Even a few days later, people ask what kind of perfume I wear. The best part is that it’s all natural and vegan. Think of this as my new and eternal staple. – Tatom Hoffman, Marketing Intern

Nera Dried Body Oil

This body oil It may be one of my favorite products. Its jasmine scent is incredible and the best part is that the oil does not feel sticky or oily. Instead, it instantly moisturizes the skin and makes it the most luxurious shower routine. – Suruchi Avastthi, Food Editor

Tennis is often considered a summer sport, but I play it all year round – and this watt skin dress He comes with me every season. The UPF50+ fabric is lightweight and protective outdoors, but adds plenty of warmth to the infamous chilly indoor courts. It’s chic and functional, and quickly becomes my go-to for both doubles matches and misses. I love the easy “tennis player off duty off” vibe (the one I always chase). – Isabel Eyman, editorial strategist

Warby Parker Whalen Eyeglasses by Acorn Tortoise

Warby Parker has changed my view (literally) about the world of optometry. The era of expensive, long, expensive frames is gone. If you’re looking for a new prescription, a pair of blue light glasses, or both, I couldn’t fully recommend my experience with Warby Parker. Whether you have vision insurance or not, their self-paid exam prices are reasonable, and the majority of their frames cost around $100 on a single vision prescription. The days when glasses ruin clothes and scramble for uncomfortable contacts are over – my WHALEN Frame Blue light lenses and prescription lenses became staples in my wardrobe, but they became the accessories I needed. – Casey Mackey, Editorial Assistant

Madewell Wire Choker Necklace

I hooked this Silver Choker It’s the last time of Madewell’s Insiders Sale (and definitely the only membership I use religiously), and it’s already become a daily staple. Describing the materialist Dakota Johnson character. I may not have loved the ending, but I totally owe her fighting, downtown style. I wear it with J. Crew’s crispy, oversized Etienne shirt (thank you, Kamille). It’s like feeling clothes intentionally. Minimal, versatile, and a little edgy – what I want now. – Isabel Eyman, editorial strategist

I’m obsessed Roxie Nafousi’s Manifesto. After returning to my desk after school I read a few pages (favorite rituals pairing with coffee or matcha – no discrimination!). Her book is full of small practical steps to set intentions and actually follow. I’ve never manifested, but this book gives me a sense of it So useful! – Wellness Editor Eddie Holstman

whoop

I’m training for a weightlifting competition, whoop It helps you track your steps, sleep, training tension and recovery.
