of Real1 10% Vitamin C Toner* is a multi-purpose mist toner with 10% Vitamin C to brighten and revitalize the skin. It is also said to help hydrate the skin, balance pH levels and reduce signs of fatigue. It is the toner’s key ingredient, known to brighten the skin, reduce pigmentation and protect the skin from sun damage.

5 Powerful Benefits of Vitamin C Toner for Glowing Skin

Vitamin C toners often contain additional moisturizing ingredients that help skin retain moisture. Hydrated skin looks plump, smooth, and radiant. Incorporating a Vitamin C toner into your skincare routine can help boost skin’s moisture levels for a healthier, more vibrant appearance.

  • Anti-inflammatory:

Do you suffer from redness? Incorporate anti-inflammatory Vitamin C into your skincare routine. Ascorbic acid is known to soothe irritated skin and reduce redness, making it a great choice for those with sensitive or irritated skin conditions such as rosacea. Regular use of a Vitamin C toner can help soothe your skin.

Spray Elizavecca 10% Vitamin C Toner onto skin.

How to use Vitamin C toner?

Before applying your Vitamin C toner, wash your face and neck with a soap or gel appropriate for your skin type. This will remove dirt, oil and makeup, allowing the toner to penetrate better. Always apply your Vitamin C toner to dry skin, to avoid diluting the active ingredients. Now it’s time to apply your Vitamin C toner. There are two ways to do this, depending on the product:

• Cotton pads: Apply a small amount of lotion to a clean cotton pad. Gently wipe the entire face and neck, avoiding the area under the eyes, without applying too much pressure.

• Spray bottle: If the toner comes in a spray bottle, spray it directly onto your face with your eyes closed. Gently massage into skin with your fingers.

Allow the toner to air dry for a few seconds before applying your next skincare product. Once the toner is dry, apply a moisturizer that suits your skin type. Your skin typeThis helps seal in the benefits of the toner and moisturise the skin. I like to apply the Elizavecca Eye Want Cream after the Real 1 Vitamin C Toner to give me beautiful glass-like skin.

Use your Vitamin C toner once or twice a day, depending on the product instructions and your skin’s sensitivity. And don’t forget your sunscreen: Dr Shereen Idris says Vitamin C boosts the effectiveness of sunscreen, so use them together to protect your skin.

  • Can I use Vitamin C and a retinoid together?

I use a retinol moisturizer five or even seven times a week, so it was important to me to know if I could mix these two powerful skin care ingredients together. “Skin care ingredients that shouldn’t be mixed?!” According to the YouTube channel Doctorly, Dr. Shah and Dr. Maxfield say that mixing retinoids and vitamin C can be quite harsh on the skin and can cause irritation. However, there’s no chemical reason why you can’t use them together. Both ingredients are very unstable, but if your skin can tolerate both, you can totally mix them together. Just be sure to do a sensitivity test.

Final Verdict

I’m not sure how it works, but the first visible results were seen the morning after I applied Elizavecca’s Real1 10% Vitamin C Toner for the first time. My skin was hydrated, plumped, and glowing. While you won’t see brighter, less pigmented skin in just one application, your skin will definitely feel better, I guarantee it. I have some discoloration around my mouth and nose, so I’m looking forward to seeing it improve. I hope that with regular use, the discoloration will improve.

What would I change about this product? I would put it in a darker bottle so that the light doesn’t degrade the ascorbic acid as quickly. I think the spray bottle itself could be improved a bit. It’s a bit messy every time I use this toner. Everything else is great! It’s hydrating, plumping, energizing, just awesome!

The toner comes in a clear plastic spray bottle. The minimalist design sets this product apart from other Elizavecca skincare products. I hope future products will retain the cute pig-themed label and box. Vitamin C is a highly unstable skincare ingredient that oxidizes easily. Therefore, I recommend keeping this spray bottle in its original cardboard box to prevent light from reaching the skin-brightening potion. The toner is so pretty! It’s a bright orange-ish color and smells like sweet tangerines. So yummy! The toner is a little sticky when you spray it on and let it settle, but if you apply your favorite moisturizer to seal the toner in, the stickiness goes away. The best thing about Elizavecca skin care products is their formulation. Let’s take a closer look at the ingredients list. Real One Toner is based on purified water and 10% ascorbic acid (aka vitamin C). This is the active form of vitamin C, which is unstable and can irritate the skin. Using active vitamin C in skin care requires a special approach, especially if you have sensitive skin. This product also contains Melia Azadirachta flower extract, which is used in skin care for its antioxidant properties. Oxime Sanctum Leaf ExtractThis powerful antibacterial ingredient is traditionally used to heal wounds. Glycerin is also found in RealOne Vitamin C Toner. Glycerin is a highly popular skin care ingredient that attracts and locks in moisture. One of the most unique ingredients in this toner is turmeric, also known as turmeric, which is why the toner has its distinctive yellow color. Like Vitamin C, turmeric helps improve skin tone and smooth out discoloration and minor unevenness in skin tone. 5 Powerful Benefits of Vitamin C Toner for Glowing Skin Vitamin C inhibits the production of melanin, the pigment that causes dark spots and hyperpigmentation. Regular use of a Vitamin C toner can help fade dark spots, even out skin tone, and brighten the complexion. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that protects skin from the damaging effects of free radicals, which are created by exposure to environmental stressors such as pollution and UV rays. By neutralizing these free radicals, Vitamin C toner helps prevent premature ageing and supports the skin’s natural defense mechanisms. Vitamin C is essential for collagen synthesis and keeping skin looking youthful, elastic and firm. Dermatologist Shereen Idris In one of her YouTube videos, she mentions that vitamin C not only boosts collagen, but also prevents it from breaking down prematurely. And as we all know, collagen is the structural protein that supports the skin.
