While most of us are fighting sand and sand in unfortunate places or melting in the city heat, Zach and Dylan Efron are living their best lives on Lakeside holidays, essentially the pinterest board of “summer goals.” And yes, the shirt was left at home.
On July 1st, 37-year-old Zac Efron (literally) made waves by dropping the carousel of Lakeside’s photo on Instagram (literally); There’s no captions, no explanations, no mere atmosphere. This post began with a shirtless “high school musical” graduate behind the wheels of a boat like a voyage dream, then his shot happened like a pro.
Another snap showed Zack strolling his solo with just a towel wrapped around his waist, looking casually like an ad for Abercrombie. The post was an adorable sunset video of him and his younger brother Dylan, who swapped a cowboy hat while floating on the boat.
Dylan Efron’s POV: shirtless, sunny, and sponsor?
Dylan, 33, sneaked out a day ago for fun to his followers and posted a video montage of the Lakeside hangout. His Instagram video opens with the text “Describe Summer in One Word” and is set on a refreshing Briscoe track called “Easy do It.” His answer? “this.”
The video shows the brothers taking turns standing up into the water from the dock, wearing only the swimming trunks, and perhaps they are in the brand deals as Dylan tagged Voli Both in captions and clips.
Also featured: Courtney King, Dylan’s longtime girlfriend, was thrown into the water by her man like a true rite of passage from the lakeside. (The cute attacks are real.)
Cowboy hat and hero moment
While photos filled with sibling bonds and AB stole the spotlight this week, Dylan recently reminded fans that he is more than just abs and a central haircut. During the April episode of Brooke & Connor creates a podcastThe “Traitor” star told an incredibly dramatic story from his first visit to South Beach in Miami.
“I’m walking to the shore for the first time. I’m looking out. It was just people screaming underwater,” recalls Dylan. He, actor Sam Asgari, and their friend Brandon rescue several girls who have been caught in a rift. Dylan shrugs and brushes it, calling it “random” but are you honest? He is a certified lifeguard in our hearts.
After the group was safe, Dylan simply hugged one of the girls, said, “You’re safe,” and walked away like a shirtless superhero without needing applause. Symbolic.
Thirst on this holiday weekend
Whether they’re bent over a cowboy hat, saving lives on the beach, or giving gays everything they need via Instagram, Efron Brothers continues to deliver. The fourth of the energy of July 4th is summer fun, healthy, hot, cheerful, low efort.
