While talking with GQ Hype It was recently confirmed that Story and Williams were initially signed on for three seasons of the show.

While this in no way confirms that a third season will actually be produced, it does indicate the creators’ vision for the show if it continues to be a huge success.

And with the fifth episode of Season 1 being the second most-watched episode in TV history and its popularity online, we can confidently say the show is a hit. Therefore, we look forward to seeing the three-season vision fully realized.

By our count, there are at least three more books in Reed’s series that have yet to be adapted, and could serve as the basis for further stories.
