The romance is messier, the stakes are higher and the gestures are bigger than ever XO, Kitty Season 3.
The Netflix hit starring Anna Cathcart, Sang-Hong Lee, Jia Kim, Choi Min-young and Anthony Keevan returns as Kitty Song Covey dives headlong into her final year at a Korean independent school in Seoul. But if you think she understands love, think again.
Season 2 ended with Kitty making a bold move and asking Minho if he could join her family’s world tour. Luckily, season 3 picks up right where it left off, setting the tone for a whirlwind new chapter. As showrunner Valentina Garza told Tudom, “This season is really about Kitty learning that life rarely goes according to plan,” adding that sometimes you need to “surprise yourself with life.”
And yes, that includes love too.
Kitty and Minho enter their most chaotic period yet
This season leans completely into the do-it-or-don’t-do energy between Kitty and Minho. From a glamorous yacht trip to Busan to the emotional ups and downs of their senior year, their connection is at the center.
When we caught up with Cathcart and Lee, we had to ask them the ultimate romantic question. Which is more romantic: confessing at the airport or watching the sunrise together?
Cathcart did not hesitate.
“Confession at the airport. Anyone can watch the sunrise together,” she said. “At once cinematic, immediately romantic. I hope that comes true in my real life.”
But Lee is thinking long-term.
“I think I’ll go at sunset,” he explained, noting that confessing at an airport can be dangerous. “If it doesn’t work out… it’s a very messy flight.
“It makes you feel like a sunset or a sunrise. It’s romantic. It’s lovely. And it’s a beautiful setting, so there’s always a moment of silence that you can both enjoy. Less is more. So after sunrise or sunset, you can still go out somewhere, eat food, go anywhere, go somewhere nice. Even if it doesn’t work out. A plane? I don’t know about that.”
Honestly, it’s completely legitimate. We’ve seen Minho chase Kitty to the airport many times, and it never gets easier each time.
Meanwhile, Kitty is here living out every romantic comedy fantasy we’ve ever dreamed.
“Literally within two years, she confessed twice at the airport. She’s kind of living her life,” joked Ms Cathcart.
Expect big drama, more emotion, and a little chaos
Season 3 follows Kitty as she tries to plan the perfect senior year, from strengthening friendships to considering her future. But between various signals, family expectations, and unexpected developments, nothing goes as planned.
That’s exactly the point.
This work combines the fantasy of Korean dramas with down-to-earth youth storytelling. XO, Kitty They continue to deliver irresistible romantic chaos to their fans.
What about Kitty and Minho? We’ll have to wait and see if an airport-level romance finally materializes.

Season 3 is currently streaming Netflix.
