This is what Gen Z has to say about the age gap

Speaking to actual Zers, you can see that their opinions on the age gap run through the scope. Like most, their views on the theme are much more subtle than those found on X, a platform previously known as Twitter.

That being said, many teeth I’m really troubled by the age gap. The #MeToo movement has given them a language to talk about power imbalances, but around 20s say their opinions are more colored by their own personal experiences.

“When I was 21 and 22, I tried to talk to people over 30, and soon realized that it wasn’t right,” she told HuffPost. “They had far more life experiences than I did, and that was from a different generation.”
