Virginia 2025 GOP ticket gives DEI a bad name

GOP tickets for the 2025 Virginia elections are trying to prove Dei is in bad condition. Tickets are black, gay and Latino, and support racist and homophobic misogyny who have determined they are responsible for felony sexual assault in the White House.

Maga Virginia Gov. All this Hullabaloo created by Glenn Youngkin about John Reid, a gay member of the Dei team, running for the Lieutenant Governor, being on porn sites, or sending porn material. There is no indication that this is true or that it is illegal in any way. Today, there are probably no young people who have not visited porn sites and not just young people, but also straight or gay. It’s Reed’s own business. The problem for me is Youngkin and his entourage, making this about Reed’s sexual orientation. It’s mean, but I don’t expect anything less from this governor.

Obviously, I have no problem with Reed being gay. But it’s sad to see all homophobic Republicans on Twitter about this. The reality is that there are so many things decent people are concerned about when it comes to running for John Reed. His stated views on so many areas are in the way. His clear dare towards the trans community is offensive. His use of the term “Wokism” never explains what it means to them, like many other Republicans who use it.

Also, I’m always a minority member and I think it’s okay to attack another minority. In Reid’s case, it is certainly a sign of a lack of self-worth. Either way, that’s really annoying. That’s just the beginning of the problems I have with leads. On his website, Reid said, “He believes that first-class learning in education should be prioritized, free from left-wing indoctrination.” What does that mean? Does it include banning gay-themed African-American history books and more from school libraries? He says, “We are dedicated to protecting and acquiring knowledge from our heritage, not to erase our legacy. He advocates for the importance of our history, saving our cultural landmarks and enlightening future generations regarding the foundations of our nation.”

Does that mean maintaining Confederate statues or using Confederate names for public institutions? “He’s focused on stopping his divisive mind and bringing together Virginians with shared values for a stronger future,” Reed said. He claims that “he continues to fight boys in girls’ sports and “stands uniquely to fight head-on with radical progressives” when extreme trans agendas are forced on our children. He calls it “common sense value.” I don’t think most of it seems common sense to a decent person.

He says, “You know best how to live your life and will fight to allow adults to make their own decisions without government intervention.” That’s the exception of trans people, women who want to control their bodies, health care, and others he opposes.

He also states, “We must all pay our own bills, own them personally and take responsibility for the good and bad outcomes of our decisions.” Does that mean he opposes Medicaid, government support for the poor, government sponsored kindergartens, child care assistance, or support from churches and community groups?

He then found that his full support for Jason Miyarez, who runs on Attorney General’s tickets, and governor candidate Wyn Earl Sears, both Maga Republicans like himself, who are responsible for sexual assaults on felony, racist, gay and alienators. They continue to fire thousands of Virginians, including veterans who fought for our country, the co-president he and his Nazis sympathize with. When he slashes medical research programs for children, they all support felony. A felon who cuts the hotline to reach out to the LGBTQ community if they have mental health issues. With felonies cutting off HIV/AIDS research at NIH, dedicated to improving the health of the LGBTQ community, along with hundreds of other grants and other programs that felons have cut, it will lead to more deaths worldwide from polio and malaria. This is the 2025 Virginia GOP ticket.

Vote and vote for the entire Democrat ticket for Virginians and the nation, for the Governor Abigail Spanberger and Democratic Ticket.

Peter Rosenstein A longtime LGBTQ rights and a Democratic activist.
