Family Research Council is blowing up Ulta Beauty for selling hair products from Netflix’s most famous non-binary reality star and hair stylist Jonathan Van Ness Queer Eyeand excitedly “Jump and Shrike” as store employees unveil a display featuring his big posters to post an Instagram video showing Vanness in a multi-colored dress and white heels.

Famous anti-LGBTQ groups claim Van Ness’ actions “lols me that he perceives as a woman’s behavior. It also points out that Ulta had previously hosted an episode of a now-deleted podcast featuring transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

In 2023, Mulvaney sparked controversy in a promotional video for Bud Light, sacrificing billions of parent company Anheuser-Busch, ending Bud Light’s reign as the country’s top selling beer.

The FRC faces backlash in 2022 after partnering with Mulvaney a year before the Bad Light controversy. The group opposed Mulbany’s podcast interview with “genderfluid” host and makeup artist David Lopez, where many women rejected the stereotypical behavior and attire of transgender and non-binary influencers, and discussed “girls.”

“Ulta didn’t retreat back then, and they’re not back now.” I wrote it FRC intern CAILY Siliver, located at the organization’s news outlet, Washington Stand. “Even with the vast departure of Pridemance branding, Ulta was still stuck with transgender guns.”

The FRC has accused makeup giant Sephora of following Ulta “abandoning women” and criticised both companies for financially supporting the Trevor Project, the country’s largest LGBTQ suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization.

The FRC also claims that the Trevor project is “grooming” children who contact the Suicide Prevention Hotline and Objects and contact the nonprofit resource guide for educators on the creation of classrooms that include LGBTQ. According to the FRC, these guides encourage teachers to “hides information from parents” about their child’s LGBTQ identity, and often remove them against their will.

“Companies like Ulta and Sephora are willing to support large amounts of money for groups like the Trevor Project, continuing to hide everything from their parents while promoting trance for minors,” writes Shriver.

“Christians don’t need to compromise their morality by funding perverted companies like Ulta and Sephora, which provide men with a platform to trust women and their experiences,” continues Shriver. “One cent for these companies will help fund the mental and physical destruction of minors.”

The FRC has a history of vehemently opposing same-sex relationships and marriage, opposing LGBTQ anti-discrimination laws, supporting conversion therapy, and guiding pastors to biblical poems seeking death of people engaged in same-sex acts. It also rejects transgender identity as valid, citing the biblical belief that God was “created.” [humans] Men and women. ”
