Look how we are coming to work this Friday: very low key, very careful.

Gone are the days of sass! TikTok’s newest craze is here, and it’s all thanks to transgender influencer Jules Lebron. With her signature phrase, “so humble, so caring,” Jules has captivated millions and sparked a new trend that’s taking social media by storm.

Analyzing TikTok’s viral moment

In a TikTok video that has been viewed more than 25 million times, Jules offers some tongue-in-cheek advice on how to present yourself in the workplace: “You know how I do my makeup for work? It’s very subtle, and I’m very mindful of it. I don’t come to work with green creases in my eyebrows. I don’t look like a clown when I go to work. I don’t overdo it. I’m very mindful of it when I’m at work,” she says jokingly.

Jules continues, playfully admonishing viewers to keep it classy: “A lot of you girls go to interviews dressed like Marge Simpson or Patty or Selma. That’s not modest. I’m very modest. I’m very conscious. Can you see my shirt? My cheeks are sticking out a little bit, my boobs aren’t sticking out. Think carefully about why they hired you.”

Her sarcastic tone and witty advice struck a chord, and soon “so humble, so caring” became a catchphrase to describe just about anything. you The phrase has become a cultural touchstone, even culminating in a meme featuring Dwight D. Eisenhower.

Authentic Life

In addition to her online fame, Jules has also been open about her journey as a transgender woman. In a heartfelt TikTok last year, she shared, “Growing up I never thought of myself as a boy. I was always like, ‘Oh I’m a girl.’ People would make fun of me for being gay or playing with dolls or whatever. Deep down I’m a fierce diva so none of that made any sense to me.”

Jules’ story has resonated with so many, and her authenticity is a big part of why she’s become such a beloved figure on social media. As she continues to break boundaries and spread positivity, Jules Lebron proves that being “so humble and so caring” can also be fun and empowering.
