Trans TikTok star Jesse Sullivan claims nurse misgendered him

Trans TikTok star Jesse Sullivan has claimed that a nurse misgendered him and questioned whether he was the father of his newborn twins.

It’s too hot to handle Star Sullivan and YouTuber Francesca Farago announced the birth of twins, a boy and a girl, on November 11th, naming them “Poetry Lucia” and “Rocket Romance.”

But Mr Sullivan, who is already the father of non-binary teenager Arlo, claims that a nurse misgendered him during his birth, leaving him wondering if he was the father.

Sullivan posted a storytime on TikTok about her experience at a hospital in Los Angeles. He said the nurse called him “ma’am.”

“This is unbelievable.”

“You are discriminating against me and misidentifying my gender,” he wrote. “I thought I had been treated badly by many people throughout my life, but this is unbelievable.”

She added that the man replied, “Yes, I am the father,” to which she replied, “Are you her biological father?”

He added that the incident made him feel like an “abnormal person” and had to admit that “technically speaking, I’m not.”

Sullivan went on to say, “Nurses shouldn’t have made such a fuss about this because IVF is so common.”

The couple revealed in April that they were expecting their first child, after a heartbreaking failed previous IVF attempt. Farago later announced that she and Sullivan were pregnant with twins.
