‘The secret Traitor is the best thing to happen to The Traitors’

Now everyone looks just as bad as Faithful in the real show. I think people are finally realizing in the most genius way that it’s almost impossible to look at people and think, “I think you’re a traitor because of this or that.”

classic example [of who the secret Traitor could be are] Detectives Amanda and Sam. Sam pitched Claudia about being a traitor in a similar way to when I was just about to go. “I’m an evil person. Just let me do it. I’m going to be terrible.” Because you really want the job. I don’t think it’s Amanda or Sam. I hope it’s some totally random person that no one is even talking about, that people don’t even know their name yet.

Have you ever been in the shoes of a traitor? Is there something the traitors are looking for to find the secret traitor?

You can’t! There are 3 civilians [series] and one famous person traitor That’s what happened. all of [the players] “Who’s acting differently? Who’s doing this? Who’s doing that?” If you look back at all the seasons, you can only think of two things that are different. [when Claudia said “Traitors”] And Alan Carr. Alan Carr was really funny and he could be dry as a bone and the next minute he was sweating and people still didn’t understand that. It doesn’t matter who changes. You won’t be able to notice it. It is almost impossible to detect when someone becomes a secret traitor. I would put a lot of money into saying that no one will know until it comes out.

Body language, actions, all that kind of thing doesn’t matter. Because you’re already stressed, you’re actually showing emotion, you’re scared, and you’re probably changing. [behaviour anyway].

How did the addition of the Secret Traitor change your behavior during the season? The Traitors aren’t happy with this development this season, how do you think you would have felt?

I wish I had been in this piece with the secret traitor with everything else starting. Oh my god, that would be great! It is the most important role in the entire castle.

There will obviously be a 4th edition. [Traitor] Just now [the three Traitors] Instead of thinking, “There’s still three of us, so we can control the narrative around the table,” we quickly realize that they’re down, there’s a secret traitor, and they’re the better one. I think they immediately became very anxious. I think Hugo is leading that and it’s influencing the other two as well.

In reality it would have been different. It would have been less obvious. If it were me, I think I would have continued without worrying about that. However, I don’t think I would have been so cocky.

I think Rachel has the best strategy so far. Because it feels like Rachel doesn’t care and more like, “I’m going to betray you both.” I think it’s even more important now to backstab. She attacks Hugo with a conspiracy and thinks she and Steven should both rule the game.

There’s definitely a vibe from Rachel and Stephen that they’re not thrilled about Hugo being a traitor.

Rachel has inner strength and is the head of the communication department, so she has a company atmosphere and no nonsense and bullish feeling. Hugo – I haven’t seen any warmth or soft edges, so if I was going to throw him under the bus, Hugo might be the one I would throw there. You have to remember that these guys spend a long day together, so you never know how he’s acting [away from the cameras]. You have to be very selfish, you have to think about longevity, you have to think, “Is he a good traitor?”

I think the first half of the game is about building relationships and friendships. [Faithful player] Fiona said, “I’m going to focus on making friends with everyone.” It works! Non-threatening friends – get you into the mid-game quickly. People who go out there and say, “I have all these theories, I know who it is, blah blah blah.” You will soon be exiled or killed.

celebrity traitor Switched to regular traitor format. For Season 4 of the commercial series, do you think the producers felt they needed to up their game to keep the show interesting?

They were always trying to throw something in there, and I think they did it really well. they don’t think so necessary To. I’m a bit of a purist and think that if you keep putting 22 people in that room, not only will you always end up with the same pattern, but you’ll end up with absolute chaos. There was so much warmth in the celebrity’s work that I don’t think I felt any pressure to do it. It had a lot of humor. It’s all for charity. So you can’t see the war. I don’t see any bitterness. Season 3 was very serious and very heavy in many ways. Our season had a mix of funny humor, but also some very serious parts.
