Hundreds of thousands of British residents marched across London as part of London Transpride 2025 (July 26th).
Members of the nation’s masses shrug off the cloudy weather and spread the message of trance liberation to the country’s capital.
Margining from the Langham location to Congress Square, activists held a series of signs.
Others opposed the slogan of LGBTQ+ liberation and the continued attacks on the trans community by Kiel Prime Minister Starmer.

Marcher has also overwhelmingly expressed solidarity with the Gaza people amid continuing Israeli bombing in the region, with multiple Palestinian flags visible in the miles-long crowd.
Last year, during the grassroots Pride March, 55,000 people marched for trans rights, marching in the name of the community. Heart Stopper Actress Yasmin Finney and transreality TV star and influencer Ella Morgan appeared.
Yasmin Finney and Ella Morgan have both made their comebacks, along with London Transpride 2025, activist Caroline Littman, Brighton Transpride co-founder Fox Fisher, and Jude Geartamatch, founder of the Trans Solidarity Alliance.

Talking to Pinknews, Guaitamacchi said that while the energy of the march was positive, you can feel “all the weight that’s going on at this point.”
“Pride has always been a protest, so there has never been a need for transpride in London, and now we are protesting against stripped human rights.”
Much of the focus has been on recent British Supreme Court decisions. This concludes that the definition of sex in the Equality Act of 2010 refers only to “biological sex.”

Several activists condemned the April ruling and subsequent interim guidance from the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC).
Guaitamacchi said it was essential to stop guidance before it became legal, and that he told Pinknake before March:

London Transpride operations coordinator MX Adam Khan told Pinknews that while it’s not the only way the community can hear the voices, grassroots protests are extremely effective.
“We need a multifaceted approach to get the systemic change we want to see, but shutting down the city of Westminster would say it has tens of thousands, potentially hundreds of thousands of people.
“It’s not just politicians, but people who fund the institutions, and people who have an influential, pseudo-fascist and gender-critical view.”

Founded in 2019, London Trans Pride was created in response to the growing transphobia of institutions and societies across the UK.
Noah Fince, an influencer, musician and longtime supporter of London Transpride, said that what pride is or should be has changed quite a bit since attending the first protest in 2017.
“This is when every trans person feels that their rights and lives are threatened. It’s definitely a different environment, but it kind of brings us closer and gives us a clearer perspective.”
This change is less obvious than behaviourism from trans children. This is a grassroots group under 18 who aims to highlight the systemic injustice that trans youth face through direct action.
Their protests include occupying educational and spray painting trance slogans at NHS England headquarters in London.
One group that chose not to name them told Pinknews that Collective aims to spread the “serious message” of fraud through clearly “false” actions.
Asked if direct action is a key form of protest, the spokesman said, “Yes, especially in the face of an increase in government opposition. That is, we’ve seen it recently in the RHSE guidance.”
