Whitman Walker, a Washington, D.C.-based community health center specializing in LGBTQ health care and HIV prevention and treatment, has appointed former Obama administration official Ted Miller as interim executive director of the Whitman Walker Foundation. Appointed.

Miller’s background includes senior fundraising, public engagement, communications, and government affairs roles at two federal agencies, including AmeriCorps. Tom Daschle (D.S.D.), as well as with the national organization NARAL Pro-Choice America and Cancer Support Community. I also have work experience. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Miller serves on the board of the Point Foundation, which provides scholarships and leadership opportunities for LGBTQ students, and on the Victory Fund campaign committee, which focuses on electing more LGBTQ individuals to public office.
