In the post, the performer tackled allegations that have emerged in recent months, explaining the emotional sacrifice of being falsely accused.
“Hello. I’m very grateful for my life, texting my mother, repacking my drug bags, caring about my own Lil gay business. Then there’s some BS here “I will,” she wrote, referring to the accusation. “It’s very difficult to bear to be falsely blamed in the most heinous ways. I recommend staying silent, and I interact with illicit people who are seeking money and moments. I try my best to continue without doing it. “It’s not worth it,” I say. ”
Shangela emphasized that the charges against her never held back, and that despite this, her career, reputation and family have been negatively affected. She expressed her gratitude to the fans who reached out and supported them during these difficult times.
“None of these false claims have beaten me… but I’ve suffered in my career, my personality, and even my family. I’ve overcome this type of confusion and amidst the dark times. I’m grateful to everyone who checked me out. Honestly, my heart is grateful to you,” she continued in the post.
In a follow-up message, Shangela shared her thoughts on the challenges she faced while pursuing her dreams. “My dream, growing up in a small town, was to always entertain people and hopefully have a positive impact on the world. I worked non-stop publicly and personally to achieve this. “I did,” she wrote. “But I never imagined that realizing my dream would come true even with shocking betrayal or defamatory attacks.”
Shangela also acknowledged the challenge of being a successful black gay drug queen, saying that anyone who wanted to see her failed targeted her with such accusations. “The more you go, the more people want to see you fail. But I won’t give up. I hope no one has to go through this. It hurts.”
The performer said her commitment to the truth would ultimately win, and vowed to continue fighting the allegations. “Their goal is to characterize successful black gay drug queens as threats. But my goal is to never win evil,” she said. “I will continue to fight back with the truth. Over time, I know that the truth will win. I still appreciate life and always send love… xo, Shangi.”
