Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Shakira canceled her performance as part of World Pride’s welcome concert.
The concert, scheduled to be held at Nationals Park on Saturday, May 31st, was originally intended to take part in the world tour of the Colombian-born music artist Rasmu Geres Janonono Roller Run.

“Like Shakira fans and our friends and family who traveled from all over the world to join DC this weekend, we are extremely disappointed that the unexpected situation forced us to cancel both this week’s concert in Boston and at Nationals Park.”
The following statement was issued to those who purchased tickets for the concert.
“Due to complications from previous shows in Boston, Shakira’s full tour production will not be able to be transported to Washington, DC in time for its scheduled performance at Nationals Park on Saturday, May 31. As a result, the DC show has been cancelled. Please contact third-party resellers (such as StubHub, SeatGeek, Vivid Seats) or purchase points directly.”
