Thursday, June 5th, Rupaul’s drag racing The winner of Season 15 will be Front and center for Team DC’s 20th annual “Nationals Night Out” pre-game festival. She dumps the ceremonial first pitch of a matchup between the Washington Nationals and the Chicago Cubs.

The annual event celebrates the Nationals baseball team’s LGBTQ fan base. This year’s event coincides with WorldPride DC’s celebration, with “Night Out” serving as a weekend kickoff filled with dozens of events throughout the city.

But after all, it’s not the first brush with baseball.
“My siblings registered me for baseball as a child,” she recalls. “And I was playing the field on the far right, and I was literally spinning and making turns while the game was playing and looking at the sky, so they had to pull me out.

Before the pre-game festival on the field, Colby will hold a short-ticket “Meet & Greet” event inside the stadium.
“When I make typical encounters and gifts, I connect with the people I meet because they give me energy, and I can put faces and stories on the people I see when I’m actually watching the audience.
Colby is grateful that Washingtonians continue to support their communities. Especially when many others are pulling back in the face of a hostile political situation.
