With the countdown to I’m a celebrity…get me out of here! 2025 is underway Confirmed Queer football icon Alex Scott joins the lineup.

Scott is one of the celebrity contestants joining Ant and Dec in the Australian jungle for the 2025 edition, and some very exciting names join her.

A week before the start of the ITV series, former Arsenal and Lionesses player Alex Scott was confirmed as one of the contestants.

Scott retired from football in 2017 and is currently the host of Football Focus. The queer football star is dating singer Jess Glynne.

According to The Sun, sources close to Scott said she was keen to join the show. i’m a celebritylineup. An important reason for her decision was that she wanted to show a different side of herself to the public.

They are said to have said: “Alex loves pushing himself out of his comfort zone, and what better place to do that than in the jungle?”

“The public knows that she’s an athlete and a serious broadcaster, so she thinks she can show people a side of her that they haven’t seen before.

“Alex can literally take on anything you throw at him because he has a tough personality and can take on anything.”

Joining Alex Scott in the jungle are Ozzy Osbourne’s son Jack Osbourne, documentarian Ruby Wax and model Kelly Brook.

celebrities go on dates Client coordinator Tom Reid-Wilson, Irish model Vogue Williams and comedian Eddie Cuddy will also appear.

Original-eastenders actors Martin Kemp (whose son Roman appeared on the show in 2019) and Shona McGarty; emerdale Star Lisa Riley is also heading to the jungle.

Also scheduled to appear are streamer Angry Ginge (real name Morgan Birtwistle) and rapper Itic (real name Harrison James Armstrong).

i’m a celebrity is set to return for its 25th series on Sunday (November 16).

If the show continues like previous series, it will air every night at 9pm for three weeks.

Spin-off programs will also be broadcast following the main program. I’m a Celebrity: Unpackedhosted by Joel Dommett and Kemi Rogers.
