Before her final episode on the morning news show, the cast gave her a larger-than-life bouquet of flowers to give her both a figurative and literal flower.
“This is for you,” cast member Karamo Brown yelled at the visibly emotional host. “We will give you flowers.”

“No one gives flowers like you and we love you so much that we have to give you flowers.”
Kotb announced on September 26 that he would be leaving the morning show soon. “So I did the math and realized I’ve spent 26 years at NBC, 16 years at The Ten, and seven years with you guys. And I just turned 60. ” Kotb emotionally confessed.
“And that was such a monumental moment for me because when I turned 60, I started thinking about that decade, like, what does that decade mean? And what does that do for me? And then when I turned 60, I realized it was time to turn the page and try something new.”
However, the star admitted that he is planning a new venture. “I have something that I’m very excited about, but it’s still in the early stages,” she said. “It’s a whole health situation and the things I’ve been working on on myself have ignited that.
“I learned through friends and Jenna to do different things like breathwork. [Bush Hager]through Maria [Shriver]through different people, I’ve loved it. ”
