A man was stabbed and seriously injured during an altercation with a bouncer inside a gay bar in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The incident reportedly occurred around 2 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28, at the Saloon, an LGBTQ venue on the corner of Hennepin Street and Ninth Avenue. of Minnesota Star Tribune.
A 27-year-old man, whose identity has not been released, was stabbed and taken by paramedics to a local hospital. he was seriously injured.
Police have not yet released the circumstances that led to the altercation.
A 33-year-old bouncer from Newport, Minnesota, was also treated for injuries at a local hospital and booked into the Hennepin County Jail on suspicion of first-degree assault.
Saloon CEO Christopher Bock said it was unclear what caused the fight.
“We’re still trying to figure out if they knew each other and how they met,” Bock said. star tribune.
