“Ice Slippin'” singer and actor Omar Apollo celebrates the film’s release queer By sharing a frontal scene from his own movie online.
Omar Apollo stars in Luca Guadagnino’s risqué new psychedelic trip movie queer Starring Daniel Craig and Drew Starkey.
In the film, Craig plays William Lee, a fictionalized version of William S. Burroughs, the author of the book on which the film is based. He’s an American expatriate in Mexico who spends his days staggering drunkenly from bar to bar looking for men to sleep with.
Apollo appears early in the film, playing a man who is picked up by Lee at a bar.
Their brief scene is quite risqué, with Lee taking the man back to her room for sex, which leads to the show-stopping full-on scene in Apollo.
The film continues with Lee becoming infatuated with former US Navy officer Eugene Allerton (outer banks (Drew Starkey), the two eventually slept together.
They then head to the jungles of South America together in search of a hallucinogenic drug that induces telepathy.
Earlier this week, queer” distributor A24 has confirmed that the film will be available for download in U.S. homes through Prime Video, iTunes, and other digital outlets.
Guadagnino’s latest film has not yet been released in the UK, but will be available on streaming service Mubi in the near future.
