I think a great pop star must be an avid researcher of their craft (feel free to use this as a reference if you like!). And all of Gaga’s work is a true reflection of pop’s past, present, and future. Starting with the debut album fame In 2008, Gaga took inspiration from the legends that came before her (Madonna, David Bowie, etc.) and made it her own.

Owns 6 albums (LG6.5 not included) harlequin and all of her Tony Bennett jazz collaborations), three highly iconic films, two different Las Vegas residencies, one Super Bowl halftime show appearance, and one highly iconic production. “Paparazzi” performance at the 2009 VMAsendless fashion moments like the meat dress we’re still talking about, the music video that reinvented the genre, the Oscar-winning song “Shallow” (PAUSING TO CATCH MY BREATH), and the long-running candid History of LGBTQ+ advocacy, award-winning beauty line house lab, and Hilarious feud with Perez Hilton — Lady Gaga has influenced culture more than we can realize.

And while it’s hard to fully capture someone’s legacy when there’s still so much time left, it’s in a new generation of pop stars that Lady Gaga’s influence can be best seen. what girls like chapel lawn and Addison Rae Born out of Gaga’s school, it’s just getting started.
