Monster Star Cooper Koch was once told he wouldn’t get acting roles because he sounded “gay.”

When he admitted that he wasn’t sure and that was why he was taking classes, the teacher allegedly responded, “Well, you’ve got a gay voice.”
Koch also suggested that similar reasons were behind his firing while working on a pilot for a new TV show.
“I’m a big-hearted guy. I was bullied as a kid and I got fired from my job as a pilot because of it,” he said. “But I can’t take it anymore. I’m just walking away.”
“If you have that opinion or you don’t want to work with me because my voice is like this or the way I walk or talk or move my hands like this, then I don’t want to work with you either, baby.”
