Thursday night at The Abbey was full of glamor, glitter and good vibes as MISTR’s stunning models took part in the star-studded blue carpet countdown to the inaugural National PrEP Day. The event, hosted by drag queen Bob and MISTR CEO Tristan Shucraft, launched a bold campaign aimed at enrolling 10,000 new people on PrEP in just 10 days to help end HIV in the United States.
While drag royalty, global pop stars and A-list celebrities made headlines, MISTR’s own models couldn’t be overlooked. From their sharply tailored suits to their effortlessly striking looks, these sexual health ambassadors brought energy, confidence and charisma to every corner of the iconic venue.

The MISTR model was more than just eye candy. The existence of each was a statement that sexual health is stylish, accessible, and worth celebrating. Moving through the crowd, they posed alongside celebrities, chatted with attendees, and helped set the tone for an evening that blended advocacy and entertainment.
Cardi B reminded the crowd, “Sexual health should be easy and nothing to be ashamed of. That’s why I’m obsessed with MISTR & SISTR! It’s free, even if you don’t have insurance! It’s safe, it’s smart, and it’s about community.” The MISTR model amplified that message, showing that confidence and consideration go hand in hand.

a night full of stars
The countdown event featured unforgettable performances, from a drag superstar paying tribute to Dua Lipa to a surprise appearance by the pop icon herself. Diplo brought the dance floor to life, followed by an afterparty with SG Lewis. From Omar Apollo and Matt Bomer to Demi Lovato and Kim Petras, celebrities and influencers gathered to dance and celebrate the start of a new national holiday.
Amidst the glittering confetti, MISTR models stood out as ambassadors of both style and purpose, helping to bridge the gap between advocacy and entertainment. Their presence reinforced the campaign’s mission that sexual health is important, inclusive, and should be accepted without shame.

The other side of the blue carpet
National PrEP Day is not a moment. It’s movement. MISTR and its affiliated brand SISTR are leading efforts to provide free PrEP and DoxyPEP, as well as long-acting injectable PrEP, to the LGBTQ+ community and those at risk for HIV. Events and campaigns in 15 cities across the country raise awareness, promote access, and celebrate sexual health equity.

Celebrities and DJs may dominate the headlines, but the MISTR model has proven that advocacy can be engaging, fun, and memorable. Their bold energy at the Abbey reminded us that prevention, confidence, and community can coexist, and that great things can happen when we do.
