“But honestly, it’s such an honor to have a wedding like this. I can’t believe so many of you were willing to share your big day with others. I hope each of you never has a bad day for the rest of your life.”

“And damn the states that continually toy with the idea of repealing marriage equality,” Dacus also wrote.

“Although it wasn’t a prerequisite, 120 of those marriages were between same-sex couples. Many made this decision because they didn’t know how long they would have the chance, or because their families weren’t supportive and they didn’t plan to have a ceremony.”

He added: “I don’t know what else to say other than I hope you find love in your heart. Everyone has the right to choose their own family.”
