Montero Hill, better known as Lil Nas X, has been charged with four felony after injuring a police officer in a strange incident in Los Angeles.
Last week, the 26-year-old rapper was filmed, roaming the streets of his underwear, putting traffic cones on his head, and bystanders quickly capturing videos spread online and talking to himself.
The famous Grammy-winning artist for his record hit “Old Town Road” in 2018, recently I wiped his Instagram Feeding while teasing his next album, “Dreamboy.”
Social media users responded to sadness and anger. In X, many criticized those who hone their videos as promotional stunts and those who chose to film and post instead of providing help during what appears to be a mental health crisis.
A black gay man is in a mental health crisis, which was filmed by strangers and sent to tabloids, then placed in prison, and is now facing years of prison. I really feel deeply embarrassed by all the people who watched that video and jumped to blame him with a PR stunt right away https://t.co/h78ih0coie

“Black gay men were put in prison after having a mental health crisis where strangers were filmed and sent to tabloids, and now they have faced prisons for years.
Another user called the incident “disappointment” notes that instead of people asking for help, Tiktok filmed with Lil Nas X.
It reaches the point…this is so disappointing. The fact that PPL saw Lil Nas X High as the kit in his underwear in the middle of LA and tried to make a video of Tiktok with him instead of asking for help…pic.twitter.com/ovpqoigpu0

Others criticized the US justice system, arguing that Lil NassX should have been directed towards mental health care rather than prison during his explosion.
“Maybe they’ll get help from him instead of putting him in prison. Whether or not they’re famous in that scenario requires mental health services that aren’t incarcerated.” I wrote it 1 Instagram user.
The mental health struggle among black LGBTQ individuals remains neglected in the United States. 2020 Trevor Project Survey “Despite a similar proportion of mental health disparities, Black LGBTQ youth are significantly less likely to receive professional care.”
Some users went further and warned that they would call police for welfare checks during the public mental health crisis.
Stop calling police officers for welfare checks
Cops charge a battery, especially if you exhale from them.
