TV show “Slow Pitch”: Lesbian version of “Heated Rivalry”

If you’ve spent any time online over the past month, this probably isn’t news to you. fierce rivalry has taken the world by storm, and we (willingly) refuse to shut up about it. As a proud Canadian, I feel a giddy sense of pride knowing that this film was shot here by a Canadian team and distributed by a Canadian streaming platform. At this point, I’m so obsessed that I want to straight up vote for Elijah and Shane on the next $5 bill, but I digress.

So when I heard that fellow Canadian streaming platform Crave was developing another LGBTQ+ sports series, slow pitchI immediately searched the internet for an answer. Although not much is known about it other than the instantly iconic catchphrase. beer, lesbians, baseball – we do I know a few things. Let’s break this down.

Based on web series, slow pitch It will consist of 10 half-hour episodes and will be filmed in a classic style officeA mockumentary-style film that follows an underdog softball team chasing beer league glory. At the center of it all is the Blobblies, an underdog softball team determined to move up to the league. Led by their coach (Jess Salgueiro), they navigate both their championship dreams and the awkward aftermath of being dumped by the co-founder of the team they’re currently competing against.

So if you were waiting for your Sapphic brother to come, fierce rivalry From the same Canadian network, mark your calendars…sometime in 2026. There’s no official release date yet, but keep an eye on social media. This may drop anytime, I can’t wait!

It will be available in Canada on Crave (obviously), and streaming in the U.S. has not yet been confirmed, but fans online are hoping HBO picks up the show just as soon. fierce rivalry. We will keep you informed.
