The highly popular girls group Katseye reaffirmed their transalship in a powerful statement of inclusiveness at the recent Grammy Museum spotlight event
On Thursday (September 18), the Girls Group appeared on the Museum’s Ray Charles Rooftop Terrace, appearing in the evening celebrating the second EP. Beautiful chaos. In their interviews, they expressed clear and direct support for the inclusion of trans women in their trucks.
The six pieces consist of Sofia La Forfosa, Manon Bannerman, Daniela Avangini, Lala Raj, Megan Sukendiel and Yunsha John.
Two members of Katseye are members of the LGBTQ+ community. In March, Lala told fans it was a “half fruit cake.” Then in June, Megan came out as bisexual on the live stream.

This is not the first time the group has expressed support for the trans community.
Speaking exclusively to PinkNews in July, the Girls Group made it clear that Trans Allyship is “Brainers.”
“It was easy for us to include all the women in this song,” Manon shared.
“We didn’t hesitate. We’re always working with people from all kinds of communities and it’s important to show our love and gratitude in return.”
“They give us so much and we want them to feel seen, heard and celebrated.”
Lara said: “I think positivity has a deep impact on me and it has influenced my understanding of how important it is and how powerful authenticity is using your voice.”
Megan also added her own experience: “We had a really emotional response from our fans. People who felt they were seen or inspired to be more open about who they were. Those moments mean everything to us.”
“After all, staying true to ourselves is the most important thing.”
