Jasmine Crockett reads Trump for filth on Stephen Colbert

Democrat Jasmine Crockett laughed at Donald Trump and Elon Musk during his appearance Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

This follows a viral moment at a government efficiency (DOGE) parliamentary hearing on the inclusion of trans athletes in women’s competitions after a cisgender female fencer was disqualified for refusing to compete with transgender opponents.

Crockett used her time to focus on the Republican efforts to portray trans people as inherently dangerous, rather than focusing on real issues.

Asked by Colbert where the idea came from, Crockett said: [Trump]you have to protect it It’s very simple,” she joked.

The same was true of the hearing chair, which Crockett added, chairman of Republican leader Marjorie Taylor Green.

“I wanted to be clear. There was no reason to ask who would play what sport. I wanted to redirect this to anything but a distraction and make sure that Americans were distracting.

Crockett then listed mistakes the administration believed they had made, including threats to arrest Congressional members, enacting tariffs that would raise prices and upset America’s nearest allies.

She drew a distinction between herself and her council colleagues and “the White House bigwig who spent 25% of golf.”

While discussing her work on the House Committee on Surveillance and Reform, which is responsible for detecting fraud and waste in federal agencies, Crockett described it as an elected version of Doge, a clear dig into the boss’s mask that described it as a “bad guy.”
