I know what you did last summer Star Jennifer Love Hewitt is grateful to queer fans who have kept her character Julie James alive for decades.

The 2025 Thrasher Movie is a sequel to the 1998 film I still know what you did last summer 4th installment payment of I know what you did last summer Franchise. In it, Hewitt recreates her role as Julie James. The last girl In the first movie.

In this new sequel, five friends accidentally kill pedestrians in a car accident, trying to hide their involvement.

When this new film arrived, Hewitt opened up about the film’s strange audience.

In a recent interview, she was asked if she had a message to LGBTQ+ fans who have supported her throughout her career.

“Oh, oh my goodness! First of all, I am deeply grateful for bringing Julie James to life, thriving, and blessing,” she said. Out Magazine .

“I feel very praised and I can’t thank you enough, especially since we would like to share that you are loved in this climate.

“You’re not a person, you’re being celebrated want You are, but who you are.

“I’m here. I’m always celebrating you the way you celebrate me. I hope you feel my love.”

The interviewer followed up asking her what it means to be accepted as a “Scream Queen Queer icon.”

“I mean, it’s the biggest compliment in the whole world,” replied Hewitt.

“I love seeing people celebrating Julie James’ return. They’re the loudest and best fans ever. I’m really grateful.”
